"Most Beautiful Rival" 1880-S Morgan Silver Dollar BU
In ranking the most beautiful circulation Morgan silver dollars, numismatists narrow the field to the 1880-S and 1881-S issues, produced by the then-new San Francisco Mint. Most slightly favor the 1881-S, but some experts now lean towards the 1880-S for best overall beauty. Our Brilliant Uncirculated quality boasts its famous luster and extraordinarily crisp strikes, with absolutely no wear.

Mexico 1918-1948 “Hidalgo” Gold 2 1/2 Peso BU

The sculpted portrait captures his intense dedication to liberty. On the reverse is the famous Mexican Eagle of democracy. This gold coin was struck intermittently during and after both world wars. Brilliant Uncirculated.

Comparatively Scarce U.S. $2 1/2 “Coronet Liberty” Gold Piece
Only 12.2 million of the 1840-1907 U.S. “Coronet Liberty” $2 1/2 gold coin were struck over seven decades. That’s vastly fewer than the $5, $10 and $20 Liberty gold coins of the same period — and even lower than the short-lived 1849-1854 “Coronet Liberty” gold dollar’s total mintages. The Christian Gobrecht Liberty personification obverse and Eagle with Shield reverse are great classics in American minting history. Sharply detailed Extra Fine.
